The alarm goes off and we hit the snooze button several times and before we know it we are already
running late for the day's activities. Then the phone rings with us already late, we question whether or not we
should even answer the phone, but we tend to always answer it, no matter what we are in the middle of.
So there goes another 15-minute delay and another thing to add to our already growing list of things to do.
Since it is already so late we just forget breakfast and forge straight into traffic.
If only we could stop it all and start over.
By now we have become so wound up that it looks as if the day is a total loss.
Why did we push the snooze alarm so many times, why did we answer the phone?
Why do we even make a list when it seems that it grows with every breath that we take? We yell at the traffic in
our mind, we think WHERE IS THE PEACE?

So lets stop this out of control picture and start again. We still hit the snooze button several times
and get up late. But this time, instead of rushing around we stop and sit quietly for a few minutes and regain our
Inner Peace. In taking the time to quiet the mind we will be able to better handle the day ahead of us.
There will always be the days where we are late or in traffic or the phone rings with last minute instructions,
there will always be people who just keep running and never get anywhere because they forgot about connecting to
The Creator, which is inside of us.
Having Inner Peace will not make those days go away but it will allow you to deal with things without
losing your mind and patience in the process of things. So no matter what time of day or night it is or what
situation you are in the middle of, stop and take the few minutes to come back into alignment with The Creator.
Take the deep breaths to clear your mind and allow the connection. Just because things around you seem out of
control does not mean that you need to be apart of it. We were given this gift of Inner Peace,
now it is time we choose to accept it.
